Louisiana Bones

The cave is a crocodile.

A crash game on a jungle river: one round for everyone, a multiplier that climbs from x1.00 until the jaws snap. A tin explorer tiptoes into what he takes for a cave. Cash out before the crocodile shuts its mouth.

Louisiana Bones: a tin explorer with a lantern steps into the open jaws of a crocodile on a jungle river at sunset Playable demo

The world

Where the game lives.

A jungle river at sunset. Half out of the water lies what looks like a hollow log. It is a crocodile, mouth open, lying in wait. A small tin explorer with a lantern walks over the plank bridge and tiptoes in, taking it for a cave, to a piece of gold lying inside.

The crocodile does not move; only its eye opens. At the crash the jaws snap shut and he is swallowed. Nobody bleeds: the explorer is tin. His bolts, plates, hat and broken lantern fly out, and he stands reassembled on the bank for the next round.

How it plays

The crocodile never forecasts: the eye opens the same way every round.

  1. 01

    Bets open

Seven seconds. Pick a stake, set an auto cash-out if you like, and bet. On the bank a heap of tin reassembles into the explorer; he sets off over the bridge, timed to reach the mouth as the bets close.

  2. 02

    The walk-in

He slows into a tiptoe and his lantern comes up. He steps over the lips; the eye opens. The number stands at x1.00 and nothing can crash yet. The walk-in is the same length every round, so it tells nothing about the crash point.

  3. 03

    Running

The multiplier climbs, doubling every ten seconds: x2 at 10 s, x10 at 33 s, x100 at 66 s. From here the round can crash at any moment. Inside, he taps gold off the idol with his hammer.

  4. 04

    Cash out, or the bite

Cash out and a gold coin flies from his satchel to your balance; the explorer stays inside and the round goes on. At the crash the jaws shut in one motion. Whoever was still in has lost.
